The Future One

The Future One

“You need to seek out people who think differently.”― Amy Webb

Welcome to another edition of The Leadershifts Chronicle, a newsletter where I share ideas and resources for leaders who build better businesses and explore new ways of running an organisation.

Week 14 of the Leadershift Chronicle... and another bunch of inspiration for conscious, emerging leaders and leaders who want to grow and develop. Creating this newsletter, which is often a challenge, is also a tool for me to stay focused and keep learning and developing. It's also a way to discover experts or people who think or do things differently so I can sharpen my thinking and grow as a leader.

And share my experience and knowledge... Something I like to do...

So, I hope you benefit and learn from this newsletter.

Welcome to this week's Leadershifts Chronicle...

Enjoy...

?? Resistance to change...a topic every leader encounters more than once. Check 11 tips to overcome resistance by Brandon James Mergard - Marshall Goldsmith Coaching

?? Maybe a bit off-topic, but relevant for every leader who wants to grow his business. Thomas Joos wrote an ebook on "How to start and grow your agency in Belgium " for Freelancers in Belgium ,and Jenny Bj?rkl?f It's about building a team, navigating uncertainty, knowing your numbers and so much more.

?? 麦肯锡 released a new report on "A new future of work: The race to deploy AI and raise skills in Europe and beyond" . By 2030, in a midpoint adoption scenario, up to 30 percent of current hours worked could be automated, accelerated by generative AI (gen AI). This will heavily impact the productivity of their business. To ensure successful deployment at a company level, business leaders can embrace four priorities.

  • Understand the potential of how AI and gen AI can augment and automate work.
  • Plan a strategic workforce shift toward readiness for the automation and AI era. New talent will need to be recruited, and the current workforce will need to be upskilled or reskilled.
  • Prioritize people development to adapt to the changing skills environment.
  • Pursue the executive education journey on automation technologies.
