To a future with more cheers

In my first 100 days as?CEO?I have had the opportunity?to speak with many of?our colleagues,?customers, partners and government leaders in some of our key markets.?It is a great privilege to lead AB InBev and to have?all of?our 164,000?global?colleagues?beside me.?

Our history is?extraordinary,?and our heritage?was?built by?people who are resilient?in the face of challenging times and singularly focused on making our world better?today and for future generations.?Now it’s our turn to build on that legacy for the next leg of?the?journey.?

I remain focused on delivering on the following three priorities:??

First, we must?meet the moment and?deliver a great 2021.?We?invested and worked very hard during the pandemic to prepare for the reopening and the reigniting of the economies.?Second, we will continue to build on our momentum. We?are making progress against our commercial strategy by investing in and accelerating what is already working. This includes investments in our reputation, in category development, premiumization, Beyond Beer and our digital transformation with direct-to-consumer and B2B.???

Finally, our future relies on delivering consistent financial performance while leading in the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) space.?We depend?on thriving communities as?the vast majority of?our products are grown, brewed and sold locally. I want to continue to inspire our colleagues and stakeholders to advance key initiatives and partnerships?that?support our ESG efforts.? ?

The?culture of ownership?at AB InBev?defines?who we are and what we do. It is how we build strong teams and deliver excellent results.?It is critical that we?foster a culture where everyone feels included and empowered, and where?ideas are welcome from everyone.?
