The Future of Luxury Travel

When a person books a luxury trip, they want to come back with memories that will last them a lifetime. And in my humble opinion, they want to come back changed. Evolved. Moved. Inspired. And rested.
This is especially the case for a stressful, pandemic-riddled world where people feel scared about the future. They want a trip that will give them a combination of hope, stimulation, and relaxation.
So how can the world of luxury travel provide them with the experiences they need?
Uber Personalized Wellness & Spa Experiences
Luxury travelers want to have wellness packages that help them even beyond their trip. They want experiences that heal them to the core. So how can luxury hotels and spas deliver this type of in depth experience?
I predict there will be a demand for in house, reputable coaches ( such as Life & Health Coaches) that will work with wellness staff to make sure the client will have support and guidance that can then continue when the client goes home. This could be via an app or Zoom.
The actual spa experience will be in depth. No longer will mere scrubs do the job ( unless they are very unique scrubs and part of a wellness package that is catered to the client's physical and mental health).
Wellness tech will play a huge role in the future of luxury travel. Spas will upgrade their facilities to include cutting edge wellness experiences.

Tailored Culinary Experiences in One of A Kind Ambiances
Everyone loves gastronomy, especially luxury travel aficionados. They are craving unique culinary experiences in ambiances that make a lasting impression.
I predict the future of gastronomy related travel will be an increase in experiences that are again, totally catered to the client and how they want to feel. Yes, feel. Food creates a feeling, especially when it's shared in a positive environment with good company.
Hotels and restaurants will begin to create custom gastronomy experiences that combine atmospheres ( castles, fields, forests, yachts, you name it) and dishes that are personalized.
What trends do you predict will happen in the luxury travel world?
