The Future of LNG Industry

It is certain that the future of the LNG industry is assured. Despite numerous uncertainties, technical challenges, and government regulations and restrictions that may be relaxed and flexible, GOI statutory bodies are developing policy to allow all entities, including state-owned companies, to enter the market in the coming decades are going to witness new technology evolving and commercial innovation taking place. The issues between the traditional utility model and the emerging commercial trading model will be increasingly resolved in favor of commercialization.

At the same time, as the number of industry participants will continue to grow with a significant space, the regulatory body and the industry body have to be cautious and vigilant about the maintain industry standard safety record, which has contributed to its commercial success. The trends may create new challenges and uncertainties, but the industry is sizable?and exciting enough to keep the interest alive despite the national and international political climate.

The Indian Government has taken several policy decisions to keep the tempo up and reach all stakeholders with lots of encouraging thoughts and plans.
