A frequently asked question about future of HR and HR professional in the fast paced technological advancement such as AI & Chatbot GPT wherein the technology allows you to have human like conversation and much more with chatbot. My answer is " Great". HR function has evolved very fast from " Department to "Function" to " Profession" to " Business" and further to " philosophy and way of life". HR is everyone's business and self realization is the goal that is not completed till last day of our life. To make everyone his/ her HR manager is the role that will remain eternal and even more pertinent in today's environment and times to come as the fiercest is competition, the more is the need to everyone to be his/ her HR manager.
HR practitioner needs to use " Heart + Reason" effectively with very calm, composed , mature and ability to think on the feet. HR future looks " Great" as in so rapid changed landscape from " VUCA" to "BANI" , People's needs, emotions and aspiration needs to be managed differently and effectively.
