The Future of Fundraising
This week, I had the opportunity to visit William & Mary’s beautiful campus and speak with Matthew Lambert and his Office of University Advancement team, a group of 200+ fundraising professionals, about the future of fundraising.?
As you know, I’ve dedicated my life to inventing the bleeding edge of fundraising technology with the audacious hope that some of these inventions will change the world. As an inventor in the nonprofit fundraising sector, I challenged the team to think beyond how fundraisers work today and to look into the future with me to envision what’s possible by both harnessing the powerful and amazing technology that’s now available and inventing new technologies that we can only dream of.
Together, for the first time, we were able to experience real and holistic fundraising opportunities that sit at the intersection of emotional AI, experiential technologies, synthetic mimicking, and virtual donor perception that are unlike anything we’ve ever been exposed to in the past.?
This type of conversation takes courage, confidence, and vision. I’d like to thank Matthew Lambert and the amazing team at William & Mary for your inspiring and unwavering partnership, support and dedication to being at the forefront of where technology meets fundraising. We look forward to continuing to invent the bleeding edge of nonprofit fundraising technology together.
Next week we’ll be making an announcement that will change fundraising forever. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen and it will completely alter the way you think about technology, donor experience, fundraising and the world. Stay tuned.
Here's what's on my radar this week:

A world-class donor experience isn’t just about happy donors, it’s also about ROI. When a donor has an amazing experience from the first conversation in solicitation, all the way through committing to a gift, formalizing and documenting that gift, fulfilling the gift, and finally stewardship and impact – they tend to give more and give more often.
This means that it pays to ensure that every step of the giving process is amazing for the donor. In this webinar, Chelsea Lamego, CEO of FundMiner, joins Emily Groccia, VP of Customer Success at Givzey to focus on the ethical and legal obligations you have to your donor and how to use your giving process to protect, elevate, and deepen donor relationships.
We’ll cover common pitfalls and what the implications to donors and fundraising teams are when things don’t go well. (SAVE YOUR SEAT)
