The Future of Fundraising
Welcome to The Future of Fundraising.
I hope you all had a great holiday and spent it just as you wished, with a chance to exhale.
As we all know, that breath will be important over the next few weeks as we head into the end of the calendar year. This week, we have Giving Tuesday and in the remaining weeks of the year, we all have LYBUNT/SYBUNT lists, follow-ups with donors to fulfill gifts, and more.
It’s times like these when those who have found ways to automate the fundraising processes that are often behind the scenes, really see the difference. However, most automation solutions focus on a single side of fundraising organizations: frontline fundraising, gift processing, advancement operations, or reporting.
The Givzey team has seen amazing outcomes from organizations that are able to connect automation solutions from the donor experience to frontline fundraising; frontline fundraising to advancement operations; and advancement operations to gift fulfillment –?streamlining and empowering staff each step along the way.
If automation is a priority for you, my team and I would love to show you how carefully crafted automation can expand the work we do in fundraising.
Here's what's on my radar this week:

And, somehow, despite best efforts, there are always donors on the LYBUNT/SYBUNT list. In this post, we examine how you can make this list a smaller mountain to climb at the end of the year. Save Your Seat for Thursday, November 30 at 2:30 pm ET.
Historically, many organizations have neither built nor executed multi-year giving strategies to secure giving from loyal donors for years to come. That’s because the work that goes into asking, securing, accurately booking, reminding donors, and processing gifts has been too cumbersome.
However, advancement leadership, like the leaders at RPI, are shifting to a strategy around multi-year giving now in order to exceed fundraising goals as they execute a $1 Billion capital campaign.
