Welcome to the Future of Fundraising.
This week has been especially exciting for all of us at Givzey and our Innovation Partners. As we announced our inaugural Version2 R&D cohort to research, develop and accelerate the deployment of the world’s first fully autonomous fundraiser, media outlets were quick to feature our work together.
Rasheeda Childress , senior editor of fundraising at the Chronicle of Philanthropy and Alexandra Tremayne-Pengelly of The Observer both recognized the transformative work that our partners are leading to invent the future of nonprofit fundraising. These articles do a great job of communicating our vision, outlining the powerful impact AI can have for our donors and highlighting the boundless potential it holds for our staff-constrained industry.
We’re grateful for each of these innovation partners, who share the vision that as we collaborate together, we are truly building something that will help all nonprofit organizations change the world.
This week our team is working on the Virtual Engagement Officer’s ability to autonomously create content. The VEO can already consume information from its organization’s websites. Now, we’re working with the AI to focus on creating content autonomously from the rich content that organizations deliver to their wider audience through social media. Social media brings a dynamic, real-time ability to engage with donors in ways that are as thoughtful and timely as human intuition. This development brings us one step closer to creating a VEO that not only communicates autonomously but also crafts meaningful content that resonates deeply with donors. ?Another benefit is that this content is already created and approved by each organization, with the VEO focused on disseminating it 1 to 1 to ensure a world-class donor experience.
The rich and relevant content posted by our 13 Innovation Partners across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram is an incredible starting point. By drawing on this wealth of information, our VEO will be able to connect donors to emerging trends and engage supporters in ways that are personal, meaningful and timely.
This is the future we are working towards—a future where the work that nonprofit organizations are doing is delivered personally and directly to inspire communities of supporters like never before. Not just for top donors who are assigned to gift officers, but to all donors who want to be part of helping these world-class organizations change the world.

Givzey, Version2 and First Innovation Partner Cohort Featured in Chronicle of Philanthropy for Fully Autonomous Fundraising

Ever since the emergence of ChatGPT and other more powerful artificial intelligence tools, some professionals have worried that A.I. will take their jobs. A new tech startup, Givzey, will put that concern to the test in fundraising. The company has signed up 13 organizations that will spend 18 months using an autonomous fundraiser — an A.I. tool that will interact with donors in hopes of raising money for the institutions.

Givzey's Innovative Autonomous AI Fundraiser and Texas State University Featured in the Observer
Observer's Alexandra Tremayne-Pengelly writes:
Over the next six months, participating organizations will work with Givzey’s team to build out different use cases and theories for the autonomous fundraiser during a research and development period that will be followed by a one-year block of testing. Each participating institution will provide 1,000 donors for Givzey’s VEO to work with. The plan is to target the 70 percent to 80 percent of donors that are lacking personal engagement and bring them closer to the organizations, said Martel. “We’re trying to reverse the trend of downward momentum when it comes to fundraising,” he added.
