There is an amazing organization right here in Atlanta that you need to know about. Future Foundation. Founded in 2001, Future Foundation’s mission is to level the playing field for metro Atlanta youth by providing quality education, health, and life skills programs for 1500 youth and parents annually. Their holistic, innovative approach results in a 100% graduation rate among teen participants – since 2007 – and 100% matriculation to post-secondary education. This in an area of Atlanta where the public school graduation rate is 50%.  They achieve this through high quality afterschool, summer, and post-secondary exposure learning opportunities and holistic, collaborative service coordination for youth and parents that strengthen academic abilities, cultivate healthy relationships, promote healthy living, develop life skills, and empower the family network.
