For the very first time, the World Finance Forum will be heading to the West Coast for the inaugural CFO Innovation Summit Los Angeles on October 13-14.?
With over 200 senior finance executives expected, we have an action-packed agenda with thought leadership on the latest trends, processes, challenges and triumphs that leaders of the finance world have been overcoming during a tumultuous two years.?
Our line-up of expert speakers will be covering a whole host of topics and trends over two stages of panel discussions, keynote talks, presentations and workshops.?

A changing world
Opening the conference on Day 1 we’ll be diving straight into the burning questions that finance executives across organizations of all sizes have been asking themselves, with a panel discussion on CFO resilience in an uncertain world.
On this panel we’ll hear from finance professionals about the challenges that they have faced over the last year, ranging from shifts in business models, technology and talent, to geopolitical events or rising costs, and how they are looking to overcome these uncertainties as we move towards 2023 and beyond.?
This session will also look at the increased role of finance leaders in driving change as the visibility of the finance function becomes greater than ever.?
Later in the afternoon on, we will have a panel looking at the net zero opportunity, and how sustainability and ESG targets, whether regulated or company policy, are affecting the finance function, and how your finance teams are able to support and lead in the company in this regard, especially whilst other factors are usually taking centre stage.
Starting us off on Day 2 we have a session focussing on Financial leadership: strategic planning from the CFO. This session will look at how the CFO team can be the foundation of experience and knowledge that can shape organizational strategy, on top of the pre-existing financial strategy.?
Scaling up?
Throughout the event we have many sessions covering the varying facets of scaling up your finance team and the potential impact on company growth. Some of our headline panels on this topic include:
Business partnering: delivering value & shaping strategy. The panel will be looking at how CFOs must embrace the challenge of translating an understanding of their business into benefits for the organization, as taking a strategic approach to ensure finance business partners are focussed on key areas of activity will gain trust and buy-in from the business.

Following this we have a group of experts looking at Scaling FP&A so it's ready for rapid change. Join this session to hear from financial leaders at various stages about best practices in FP&A during differing cycles of companies’ growth.
On Day 2 we have a session that is at the forefront of everyone’s minds now, understanding The role of finance in increasing business agility.
It has been proven that companies with agile finance teams are more successful overall than their competitors and the panelists will look at how to ensure finance can lead from the front.

With the labor shortage being a longer-term problem than most originally thought, teams are having to adapt to survive and thrive, and attracting the best talent possible is rapidly becoming about much more than offering the highest salaries. Over the course of Day 2 we have several panel discussions that will be evaluating the difference the rapid evolution in ways of working has made to the process of attracting and retaining a productive workforce.?
On the afternoon of Day 2 we’ll be hearing from leaders who have overseen, or are in the process of overhauling their talent solutions in the panel Talent acquisition: from movers to shakers.?
This session will look at the process of identifying, securing and developing talent to support both short and long-term organizational strategy.?
Closing the conference on Day 2 will be a session of great value looking at The financial impact of diversity. Building and cultivating a diverse workforce can help improve employee recruitment, retention and performance, increase brand awareness for the company and for us as leaders, track social impact and sustainable growth, and positively impact the bottom line.
