The future will be either Green or Not at all

If you are curious about how to begin your journey towards sustainability, here we have a story of a woman who comes with more than 20 years of experience in Research and Consulting, who wholeheartedly embraced her conviction. In 2020, Richa established YES4US, which stands for Youth, Environment & Sustainability For Us, with the prime focus to create awareness about the perils of single-use plastics. She conducted workshops with a younger audience to teach them the dangers and impact of plastic on the environment and how they can help in keeping the environment safe and green by making small changes in their day-to-day lives.

This passion project of Richa gained visibility among corporates who reached out to her for innovative and reusable products, leading to the birth of Ecobee. Ecobee offers a wide range of sustainable and customized reusable products like cloth & jute bags, plantable stationery, bamboo products, and other gifting solutions, with an intent for organizations to THINK GREEN.

Richa joined BNI Rising Phoenix seven months ago and has been overwhelmed with the warmth and support of both the chapter members and BNI as an organization. She mentioned that she joined the chapter after visiting around four chapters and made an informed decision. She recently bought her own warehouse, and many members volunteered to guide and mentor her. With the guidance and mentorship of fellow members like Rajh Nair, Ravi, Komal, Nooh and Bhawana, Richa has thrived in the spirit of "givers gain." She deeply appreciates how members wholeheartedly assist one another without expecting anything in return, and she, too, has joyfully reciprocated by providing numerous referrals.

As we know, UAE has a big vision for sustainability and BNI has been playing a vital role in supporting UAE Green Goals. It feels great to see how BNI, the best platform for networking, has become home for many sustainability oriented?startups.
