The future of Education
Imagine waking up each day and starting your day by donning a pair of smart glasses or smart contacts. Your digital doppelganger, created around all the information you physically and cognitively absorb each day, will be connected to you through this straightforward action.
There are many different types of digital twins, but this one is a twin of all the data you take in visually with your eyes and audibly with your ears. It will document everything you taste, smell, touch, and feel inside of and around your body with a few extra sensors.
After all, education is not just about what academics believe to be significant. It's about the countless millions of tiny details that will help you become the person you most want to be. Your digital twin can help in this situation.
Electronic twins
Imagine being able to remember every detail you have ever heard, read, smelt, or experienced. Imagine remembering exactly what you read in the third chapter of the management book two years ago. Imagine remembering every word of the Ted Talk that served as your inspiration. This podcast made you rethink your presumptions, and the audiobook clarified your understanding of what was stated during the public forum you attended or who said what.
The digital twins I'm talking about are actual, functioning copies of your brain that will greatly enhance your talents in ways we haven't even begun to imagine. You will immediately be able to recall where you put your vehicle keys, the presentation materials for your upcoming meeting, or the well-known passage you hoped would strengthen your case. It won't take you long to recall formulas from physics class from the previous year, the assembly manual for your robot that went misplaced, or that minute detail recorded by your surveillance drone during the previous snowfall.
Where the rubber meets the road is obviously in finding the ideal interface. Having access to a lot of data is undoubtedly useless. However, having access to the precise information you need when you need it will be extremely helpful.
The key to making this work will be to make our connection with our digital counterpart as accurate, frictionless, and immediate as possible. I'm not even sure what you name a user interface that takes place inside your mind.
Engineers in AI are the Key
In light of this, artificial intelligence (AI) engineers, in my opinion, hold the key to the future of education.
For the majority of humans, artificial intelligence (AI) is the enchanted genie in some unseen bottle that constantly redefines a new state of normal. We cannot swallow, toss back and forth like a ball, touch, taste, feel, or feel AI. At least not yet. However, it will soon be included into each of these activities. We won't know how to survive without it because the shift will be so gradual that it won't be noticeable until one day.
AI and AR combined
In contrast to virtual reality (VR) headsets, the upcoming generation of AR smart glasses won't be able to build fully immersive virtual worlds. Instead, they will provide a transparent overlay of information and work similarly to the heads-up displays present in luxury vehicles and combat jets. For a more seamless experience, they will have speakers and miniature microphones.
Information will be delivered at the user's eye and ear level, which might be annoying to some people but won't completely obstruct their view of the outside world like VR does. Due to VR's requirement for larger devices and more powerful computation, AR and VR glasses will remain separate for the time being. But in the future, it's conceivable that AR and VR technology will be merged into a single, fashionable device that enables users to smoothly transition between the two.

Numerous apps, including those for photography, social networking, music, texting, newsfeeds, online shopping, audio and visual streaming, recording, and phone conversations, will be available on AR smart glasses. Wireless connectivity that is self-contained will make these functionalities possible. However, because the device is so close to the user's face, video calls could be difficult.
With speakers or earbuds for audio, these glasses will serve as portable wearable PCs. We will inevitably adjust to using voice commands, eye tracking, and touch controls for getting around as we become more accustomed to the technology.
Robot AI buddy
We communicate through this pair of smart glasses, which I like to refer to as our AI Buddy Bot. To enable our next-generation educational system to come into being, the Buddy Bots will be coupled with the Assessment Bots, Coach Bots, and Teacher Bots.
The Buddy Bot, which has a conversational interface, will be kind and suited to all types of interactions, whether they are positive or negative.
The Buddy Bot will eventually develop into our close friend, confidant, therapist, cheerleader, privacy guard, and conversational coach, capable of finishing our sentences before we do. The AI Buddy-Bot will get to know us very well, including both our shortcomings and our achievements. It will develop into the companion we've always wished we had, a wellspring of fresh perspectives, and our most priceless asset.
Additional Bots
Assessment bots will be used to gauge how well pupils comprehend the subject matter. They will immediately comment on your performance and make suggestions for development.
Coach bots will serve as mentors and coaches, offering individualized support like assisting students in creating a study plan or offering tips for maintaining motivation.
For students, teacher bots will arrange a continuous flow of educational opportunities, spanning from conventional to online courses and everything in between. The best materials will be suggested by these teaching bots based on the learning preferences and styles of the pupils as well as information from their digital twins. Depending on the student's progress, they will be able to modify the learning process and add new resources as necessary.
The boundaries of time and place in the educational system will no longer apply, enabling learning to occur outside of regular school hours and in a variety of unconventional ways.
It's critical to remember that while AI-based learning will revolutionize education, there will also be difficulties. As AI instructors advance quickly, there may be unjustifiably high expectations for their performance, and it may be challenging to identify the value that AI teachers bring in comparison to human educators. To reach the full potential of AI in education, it is essential that we make significant investments in rigorous research and development.
Imagining the Education System of the Future
In conclusion, AI has the potential to change education in the future. Digital twins, buddy bots, assessment bots, coach bots, and teacher bots will all be used in the education system to make it more individualized, effective, and responsive to the requirements of specific pupils. It's a great time to rethink how we approach education and learning in the twenty-first century.
I absolutely believe that the biggest opportunity in the online world that has not yet been fully realized is still education.
