Its high time for the researchers to focus more on the clean energy sources as alarm is buzzing on non-renewable sources.

China, the United States, and India are the 3 countries that combinedly burn the carbon equivalent to the rest countries. Together, these countries consume 54 percent of the world's fossil fuels by weight, according to the Global Material Flow Database developed by the UN Environment Program.

The Copenhagen Summit raised the high time to issue on “Climate Change” and the immediate measures. This document recognized that climate change is one of the greatest challenges of the present day and the actions should be taken to keep any temperature increases to below 2 °C. The document is not legally binding and does not contain any legally binding commitments for reducing CO2 emissions.

According to a research report, an estimated $3.4 trillion will be invested in renewable energy during the next decade, including $2.72 trillion in wind and solar. By 2030, 54.1% of installed capacity will be renewable (including hydropower), and 37.9% will be a combination of solar and wind.

The wind, hydroelectric and solar energy sources has seen growth in major countries. There should be an alternative shift in energy usage like chemical energy (batteries) and develop new techniques like portable wind turbines, speed breaker energy production, biogases, biodiesel, ethanol blended etc.
