This week we were tasked with listening to the plain English podcast. It's a very interesting podcast that talks about tech politics and culture, the certain one we listened to was about the meta verse and NFT's and how they will impact the future of the internet or "Web 3.0".
The meta verse is a virtual reality that will be a thing of the future. Many people already think that we already live in a digital universe due to smart phones and the ability to have a mobile computer always in our pockets though this is true but we have the ability to put our phones down and go outside. With the creation of the meta verse it'll bet harder than ever to disconnect from the internet because in some peoples theories anywhere you walk will be a form of virtual reality. Some people suggest that glasses will have to be worn and with those glasses you'll be able to see NFT's. For instance say you go to your rich buddies house and are wearing the glasses you'll be able to walk down the hall and see his crypto punk NFT hanging on the wall virtually of course but it'll be there.
NFT'S
Little more info about NFT's. So NFT's are like a digital art work that you own for example I own 9 NBA NFT's my rarest one is a base version of a Lamelo Ball doing a lay up from his rookie season its valued at about 85 dollars in ETH. I received my NBA NFT's from a thing called NBA top shot I paid about 9-15 dollars per a pack and I get three moments per a pack all random moments. They essential work the same way it would be if I was to go down to my local card shop and buy a pack of cards pay anywhere between 1-15 dollars depending on the pack and you get a few cards and hope you get a good card. Thats just one version of a NFT other versions are like crypto punks or BAYC where most of them are 1/1 pictures and they can go for hundred of thousands of dollars while all NFT's are exchanged via crypto currency.
How digital marketers will be using the metaverse and NFTs
I believe that digital markers will use the meta verse suchlike how they use the web now Facebook will be paid by the companies who wanna use that digital space to advertise their company or product. I can see regulations coming down about how companies can't advertise in such a proximity to houses or neighborhoods or something because so many people will complain about how they don't wanna see that in their own personal space within the meta verse etc. And for NFT's I can see them adding they're logos to the art for a fee to the people who create the imagines much like how some brands are on NBA jerseys I could see wish.com logo ring added to a NFT in the future. Another think that might happen is companies will come out with their own not which would then help build brand awareness.

AI or other wise known as artificial intelligence is a simulation by a machine to copy human intelligence. AI is usually coded by humans to do the tasks required.
ML
ML or machine learning is when the machine takes a little bit of time but over time it can learn how be intelligent. the computer uses algorithms to learn and adapt through patterns. ML is usually coded by humans at the very start but overtime it is recoded and changed by itself.
Current uses for AI and ML
Many companies have bots on their website that help with customer service via automated messaging chat bots or automated emails those all need some sort of AI. Another uses for AI and ML would be fraud or anti bot detection as well as Email filtering with the use of ML the emails can easily filter out spam and websites can detect fraud users etc.
How digital marketers will be using AI and ML
Al and ML will be a huge thing of the future with tech always improving. I hope it dosent go all the way to I-robot levels but a certain improvements in way of life could definitely be a positive for many people. AI could be used to help create ads that are more tailored to specific customers. ML could be used to to auto edit ads that are being show to customers and could help with changes in real time.
