I’m Will Kennedy-Long, a veteran training consultant with over 40 years of global experience in Defence and industry.

As the co-author of the original UK Military Systems Approach to Training (JSP 502, now JSP 822) and creator of the ground breaking Defence Systems Approach to Training Analysis+? application, my life's work has always been clear: to consistently evolve how we approach Individual, Team, and Collective Training.

Why This Matters

Effective training is not just about filling knowledge gaps, it's about building capability, fostering resilience, and ensuring success in the most demanding scenarios.

Whether it's creating a new skills framework for the Army, or consolidating engineering roles for the RAF or for developing new Role Capability on a nuclear submarine for the Royal Navy, my career has been defined by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering unparalleled outcomes for Defence and industry alike.

Standing still is not an option because it means you are going backwards, meeting the challenges of today and the demands of tomorrow means perpetual motion.
