Well done Bradford Sims, Ph.D., FRAeS and Ian McAndrew, for rolling out yet another highly relevant program. Cybersecurity leadership often fails to strategically align with broader business objectives, focusing too heavily on technical solutions and neglecting the strategic dimensions of cybersecurity, leaving organizations exposed to unforeseen threats and obstructing the integration of cybersecurity with business goals. This issue is exacerbated by the fast-paced evolution of the cyber threat landscape and increasing human-factor vulnerabilities, presenting challenges to leaders confined to traditional compliance-based models. This leadership gap has operational implications and can significantly impact an organization's reputation, strategic position, and sustainability. It is refreshing to see practical, work-based programs like this being made available to address these issues - looking at the content, it clearly embraces the future of cyber leadership and global perspectives and work-based learning - a perfect mix and I encourage anyone in my network that's wondering what their next step is to consider this course at Capitol Technology University.
