Future of cohesion - Swedish exchange of views

Yesterday, at the SVEREG conference in Brussels, I presented the European Court of Auditors’ assessment of EU cohesion policy and the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) to representatives from the Swedish city and regional offices. My presentation provided input for reflection on the future of cohesion policy post-2027.

Our work is relevant for such reflection, in particular:

Review 01/2023 where we compare cohesion with the recovery and resilience facility (RRF)
Special report 21/2022 on the Commission’s assessment of national recovery and resilience plans
Special report 07/2023 on the design of the Commission’s control system for the RRF; and
The use of cohesion funding for crisis management (SR 02/2023).
