The Future of Green Tech is Education

I help teachers in grades 3-5 teach climate change without the ‘doom & gloom,’ using Planet Bonehead standards-aligned units & lesson plans | Founder at Planet Bonehead
The future of your business relies on the continued interest in environmentalism. But sometimes it seems like the world is working against you. Nobody is creating a future for cleantech or environmentalism in general. So we have to create that future ourselves.
While your business focuses on sustainability, we all share the burden of ensuring that our efforts will be sustainable as future generations grow up and learn to take over. Your company will need future leaders, future employees, future partners, and future customers.
We live in a political climate that claims climate change is a hoax, and works to eliminate science and environmentalism from our school system.
Part of my mission has been to counter that.
My TV show, Planet Bonehead, currently streams into classrooms across the US and Canada, teaching kids about current environmental issues, and empowering them to make a difference at home and at school.
I am looking for green companies who want to share their environmental solutions with school kids through a documentary video, and position themselves as a community leader and education advocate.

Kids Dream of Their Future Colleges. Why Not Future Employers?
Tomorrow's cleantech leaders are today's science junkies. Kids are more aware of our environment than we give them credit for. They care, and they innately understand its importance.
Colleges understand the importance of branding with kids, that's why so many bright students dream of going to this college or that university. We need to help them dream bigger - beyond formal education. Why not help them dream of one day becoming a lead scientist, engineer, or executive at your company?
Your brand is what people think of you.
How they perceive your company - and you personally - as a business or community leader speaks to the heart of your brand.
Sometimes it’s the non-marketing activity that does the most to boost your brand awareness, or your credibility within your industry. By adding your expertise to improve education, and the national discussion around environmentalism in general, you will boost your standing in your industry and your community.
