The future is bright. How to connect with your local contractors - ChoreRelief - Tarik khribech

In the past couple of months, my team and I been working on improving the user experience for ChoreRelief customers and service providers.

So, I want to share some updates with you.

For service providers:

To get a better success rate in having your bid accepted on ChoreRelief, please focus on these items:

1. Upload a profile picture. Our research has shown that profiles with a profile picture, especially of a pro doing the work, are three times more likely to get hired than those without a picture, or those whose image is an object.
2. New: You can now add a short bio about yourself to showcase your experience and specialties. This bio will be the first thing customers will read about you, and it's especially important if you are new and don't have any reviews yet. Try using this space to talk about your background and experience.

For homeowners:

To make your experience better, easier, and faster, we're announcing three exciting updates.

1. We've just released a new version of our ChoreRelief app. It features a fresh design and is more focused on your local community, helping connect you with nearby pros.
2. Also, you'll see some popular jobs now offer a preset description and budget. You can always edit them, but the goal is to give you a good place to start. That will expedite the process and get you connected with a helper even faster. 
3. Finally, you'll have a new option, which is to post a job without a budget. That way, you can get more bids from local pros and can choose the one that gives you the best balance of the services you seek at a price you feel is fair.
