The future of IT and Analytics at a glance
The future of IT, a very controversial topic yet something very essential to be spoken about before it’s too late. There’s many things that the world is working on building starting from the Virtual reality technology, something that can give us the feeling of being in a place where we physically aren’t present to the metaverse or Web3, something that doesn’t exist in real life, that cannot be seen or touched but is just there with tons of people on it. There have been creations with the help of Artificial Intelligence where a human is only needed to create the robot and it learns on its own, figuring out how to get through situations or even help in situations. The scary part about the future of IT is that, no one can be sure of how things are going to go, or if people get to keep their jobs. To be completely honest we know that with the technology getting better and better with each passing day, one doesn’t need to have human who are possible of making errors, when they can have robots that are designed to do everything with perfection (with prior testing and approval of course!).
?Things like machine vision can make it possible to identify defects in a production line, streamlining quality assurance and there’s more in the field like the Autonomous virus-killing robots that are being used to disinfect surfaces in hospitals, helping patients and healthcare workers avoid dangerous pathogens.
One of the main things that each and every one of us have noticed during the pandemic is the Accelerated Digital Transformation, each and everyone had to find a certain way to work from their homes, except the workers whose being in the workplace was absolutely necessary, so we saw the change from conference rooms to google meets, zoom calls or skype calls etc. This led to the organizations shifting funds from other initiatives to invest those in crucial digitalization campaigns. The IDC predicts that 70% of all organizations will have accelerated use of digital technologies in areas of business resiliency, employee productivity, and customer engagement.
