However, in my experience, many companies are struggling with capturing and integrating real time data from their supplier, customer, and distribution networks into their ERP systems. On average, approximately 80% of suppliers and retail distributors are non-EDI capable, which prevents companies from accessing high quality and timely data. Before diving into AI, companies are wise to level up their connectivity and maximize addressable data, in order for these AI applications to deliver meaningful results.
