There was a snippet of a podcast on social media that stated that AI recognizes folks with an American flag on their social media and notes that AI determines that these folks need watched. And at first, I was outraged by this podcast snippet but if you truly think about what Dennis Wang said, "AI... does not necessarily reflect ethics or morals of another (country)." We are a country where we practice freedom of speech and anything goes on the social media platforms, so it kind of makes sense that AI thinks we need watched... but I still don't like it. Ethical consideration and transparency plays a big part in AI in regards to how we learn to trust it in the future.

Very thought provoking... I especially like your #2 regarding bias.... we seem to take a Western mentality that AI should be benevolent and "correct". However, the world does not have 1 view or perspective. Thus, AI evolving from one country or group does not necessarily reflect the ethics and morals of another. Or maybe AI will develop it's own bias? (reminds me of the matrix movies :) )
