I'm excited to share another SEO case study with you! Here’s a brief rundown of everything in our latest publication, Claiming the Featured Snippet for the Keyword “Peninsula Desk” with a Micro-SEO Strategy? Light: McDowell-Craig SEO Case Study.
The Challenge: Outdated Website & Stiff Competition
When McDowell-Craig came to us, their website hadn't been updated in over a decade, which means it also hadn’t complied with Google's Core Web Vitals in as many years. Our first step was addressing the foundational tech elements so the site could be competitive again on the SERPs.?
The Solution: A Micro-SEO Strategy? Light
While redesigning and optimizing the site, we identified a product page that was a perfect candidate for a Micro-SEO Strategy? Light. The page featured the peninsula desk, which became the target keyword for the campaign.
The Result: Featured Snippet & #1 SERP Position
The page climbed the SERPs and secured a featured snippet–an indication that Google considered it the most valuable piece of content on the web about peninsula desks. The page also claimed the top spot on the SERPs for "peninsula desks," giving McDowell-Craig a significant competitive edge.
