Funny has always been on LinkedIn. Now it's official.

We partnered with someone who knows a little something about humor in the office – Mindy Kaling – for the launch of our new funny reaction. Like us, she believes laughter shouldn’t just be welcome at work; it should be encouraged. To give us an opportunity to use this new feature, Mindy kicked us off with one of her own funny workplace stories:

“On my first TV writing job I tried to forward a compliment from my boss to my parents. Instead, I sent the very not-so-humble brag directly to my boss. It was horrifying BUT it also was the first of many reminders to not take myself so seriously.”

Following creators on LinkedIn, funny or otherwise, is one of the best things you can do to improve the quality of the content you see in your feed. Save those connection requests for people in your network.
