FUNDRAISING FOR CHARITY REQUEST.

Dear friends, colleagues and all,

Since retiring from the City in December 2018 I have been trying to make good use of the greater time available to me. I have been focusing a little more on an old love of mine, long(ish) distance running and also working two days a week on a voluntary basis at Leonard Cheshire Disabilty, Chipstead, Kent.

This organisation has been supporting disabled people on both a residential and day care basis for more than 70 years and has given me an opportunity to meet some wonderful people, appreciate more just how lucky I am and perhaps reset some of my life goals.

I hope to combine the two by running the Tonbridge Half Marathon on the 06 October and am seeking your financial support for this great cause.

To be clear, I am not hoping to raise large sums of money. Any small donation that you feel that you can make will be gratefully received and put to great use.
