Are fundraisers set up for failure?

Hey Nonprofit Friend,

Often the word "nonprofit/charity" is synonymous in the eyes of society with a time-honoured practice.

Fundraising.

It's how the social impact sector has thrived, on the generosity of others.

BUT, it feels like lately the job of Fundraiser has become a catch all job posting for everything in a nonprofit. Post-COVID the number of roles has shrunk. And now a single job posting apparently covers what 2 or 3 previous fundraisers would have done.

So this begs the question: "Are we setting our fundraisers up for failure?"

Interesting. I wrote a similar article recently because I've noticed the same trend for both fundraising and marketing. This is very detrimental and will cause even more burn out for nonprofit employees and ultimately, make them less effective.

In connection with the inclusion of our Fast growing Energy Forest project in the large-scale project of the Circular Economy: growing Energy plants - biogas - ecological building Brick (BBBC) - long-term binding of carbon dioxide! We are looking for a professional fundraiser in the energy and environmental field: renewable energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, climate change.
