A Fundo Friday :)

Fundo Friday -

A new email notification popped up which uttered , 

‘Hi Team,

 As discussed, a virtual fun activity will be conducted today from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Before we could head into the game, request everyone to go through the instructions well so that there would be no chaos.’ 

 First reaction of mine was Okay, followed by re-reading  of email. The word ‘Fun activity captured by attention. With zero idea what that will be, I stayed elated because of the word "Fun" .

Started the day with checking other emails, attended the other scheduled meetings , wrapped up working on one sheet and now the clock showed time 5:30p.m.

Mind asked me to quickly get ready for the fun activity which the morning email talked about. Entered the meeting, saw the team mates/participants. Here let me tell you the email further told about three teams and all employees getting divided into these three teams. Names of the teams are as follows-

Team Targaryens , Team Starks , Team Lannisters. 

I was a part of Team Starks. Back to meeting details. So, yes I saw Starkians smiling on the screen whom I also joined through the given link. We already were asked to download an application which took us to list of ten unique activities. My eyes ran through the given activities and I actually couldn’t resist laughing. Activities like solving riddles /quiz’s are quite common but learning magic trick and posting a video doing that magic trick was thought provoking. Cracking a joke in-front of a family member and making a video was an hilarious act. Instant story making by entire team needed guts, dressing up like your favorite actor/actress needed efforts and what not !!

Keeping all thoughts aside we actually started. For first fifteen minutes it was all haphazard. Questions like Who is doing what? Are we actually doing it ? Hello who all are still there ? We need to win so please let’s do, what say ? Random sentences came every now and then and from almost everyone. With every passing minute we felt an urge to do and complete the tasks and we finally started. (Kick Started Basically ) :D

Conclusion -We made a random funny story on the spot , we made a magic doing video, we solved riddles , we got ready, clicked pictures and posted , we did pushups, we got dressed up , danced . We enjoyed , We laughed . 

Synopsis -We understood the fun of being together virtually , we understood team work properly, we laughed wholeheartedly, we cracked jokes, we appreciated each other, we helped each other and most importantly we enjoyed thoroughly. 

P.S. Our Team(Team Stark won ) but above all we enjoyed and that was the dire need in the ongoing pandemic phase. 

Thanking Aston Carter for given such Fundo Friday’s .It was much needed in this unprecedented times.
