Funding up again as yields rise further

The funding levels of the Creatingbetteroutcomes Pension Scheme all rose again last week, as yield returned to their previous rising pattern. This was despite an even bigger improvement mid week and a fall in yields at the end of the week.

The unhedged strategies still lead the way, followed by the strategy with the lowest allocation to LDI.

The funding levels still all stand comfortably ahead of the position at the start of the year and now is definitely the time to consider de-risking if you are not already considering it. In fact we are having those very conversations now with clients who previously were reluctant to de-risk.
