FUNDING FOR CRAUGHWELL NATIONAL SCHOOL
I welcome the fact that the Department of Education have allocated funding for Craughwell National School for roof repairs under the Emergency Work measures.
This funding will be used to carry out emergency roof repairs at the school and these repairs are essential to keep the school protected at all times.
‘Craughwell National School is also awaiting approval to go to tender for a major extension to the school.
Minister Canney stated ‘I have been lobbying for this work to be carried out and I have met with the Design Team and Board of Management earlier this year and I am delighted to see progress at this school’.

5 å¹´Sean the funding is welcome but a much needed extension which has planning is constantly been delayed - time now for the OPW to issue tender documents and move a contractor onto site. Children now facing another winter in cold prefabs. Time for action !!
