U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a $1.13 billion investment to support local and regional food systems

This round of funding, announced on October 1, will allow states, territories, and federally recognized Tribes to purchase wholesome, locally produced foods for distribution within their communities to emergency food providers, schools, and child care centers.

New Funding Alert: TechWerx Connected Communities Data Opportunity; $1M Awards Available – Full Submissions Due 01/09/25

The Connected Communities Data Opportunity will support the collection and analysis of existing pilot program data focused on validating grid-edge technical measures and innovative planning strategies as viable strategies for efficient infrastructure investment. Ideal candidates will have both proven capacity to deliver quality, insightful analysis and have existing access to data of interest.

New York Governor Hochul Announces $10 Million Available to Advance Clean Heating and Cooling Technology

Through the State’s new Clean Heat for All: Packaged Terminal Heat Pump (PTHP) Program, NYSERDA will support the production and demonstration of simple, innovative and energy efficient cold-climate heat pumps for consumers to replace existing, less efficient air conditioners.

New Funding Alert: California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) – Next Application Period Open 01/06/25-01/27/25

The CCTC is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in or stay and grow in California and create quality, full-time jobs in the state that might not otherwise be created by the business or any other business.

California Energy Commission Approves $1.4B for the State's Clean Transportation Program Over the Next Four Years

The funding will be distributed over four years through competitive grants for businesses, public agencies, and nonprofits, with a focus on projects that benefit low-income and disadvantaged communities.
