The Definitions
Fonts || In their simplest form, fonts are a set of letters, numbers, and symbols of the same design for e.g. Times New Roman is a font.
Typeface These are a set of fonts that share common design features for e.g. Times New Roman is a typeface.
Font-family || This property is often used interchangeably with the typeface.
Font & Typeface|| Simply put, the type of font is the delivery mechanism, and a typeface is a creative work.
Importance of Typography || Typography conveys emotions. Typography keeps people reading. Typography is an essential part of the design.
How to learn typography? || Learn the principles, practice a lot, train your eyes, start noticing type, make friends with type, and last but not least explore & experiment.
