The Fundamentals Of FaceTite

The Fundamentals Of FaceTite

  What is FaceTite?

If you’re not sold on the idea of a facelift, but can’t stop imagining yourself with a more sculpted, defined neck and jawline, then why not consider Facetite - a next generation radiofrequency procedure. The procedure sends radio frequency (RF) energy underneath your skin to firm the tissue, tighten the skin, and stimulate Collagen production. Best of all, it’s minimally invasive, so you won’t need stitches or weeks of downtime after the procedure.

Is FaceTite right for me?

FaceTite might be a good choice for you if you want a more youthful looking face with minimal downtime.

FaceTite uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate tightening and Collagen production deep under the skin. The incisions are tiny, the procedure takes about an hour, and the swelling you might experience from treatment usually fades in a few days.

You’re just starting to see signs of aging.

Ideal candidates for FaceTite have fairly elastic skin and perhaps the early signs of a double chin or jowls. If you’re in your mid-40s to early-50s, it can work very well.

You’d like to tighten your facial skin without surgery.

Whether you’re turned off by surgery’s price tag, recovery time, potential scarring, or general Anaesthesia, FaceTite offers a minimally invasive alternative. It is really designed for the median of men and women who aren’t getting results from non-surgical therapy, but are also not ready for a facelift. FaceTite will probably deliver about 30 to 50% of the results of a facelift, so it’s important to have realistic expectations.

How much does FaceTite cost?

FaceTite costs about $4,900, according to Real Self reviews. In a Real Self Q&A, doctors say a typical price range is about $3,500 to $5,500 and this is depending on your location, your surgeon’s expertise, and whether you’re combining the treatment with liposuction or other procedures like Fractora.

What happens during FaceTite treatment?

FaceTite is an in-clinic treatment that takes about 60 to 90 minutes. You’ll be given local Anaesthesia to numb the area, and then your doctor will use a handheld applicator to apply the concentrated energy that stimulates skin tightening and Collagen production. The applicator combines a cannula (a long, thin tube) which is placed under your skin with an electrode that passes over the skin’s surface to generate a focused, electrical field.

Once your surgeon has achieved the sculpting effects you’re after, they will remove the applicator and you’ll be ready to go home.

What is FaceTite recovery like?

Since FaceTite uses local Anaesthesia and doesn’t require stitches, your recovery time should be fairly minimal. You’ll be able to drive yourself home after the procedure, and most people don’t take more than a few days off work.

You can expect to be swollen for a week or two after FaceTite, especially during the first two or three days post-op. Depending on how quickly you heal and the extent of your treatment, your doctor may recommend staying home for up to a week,

When will I see results from FaceTite?

You’ll see some results immediately, and your skin’s tone and texture will likely continue to look better over the next few weeks. InMode, the maker of FaceTite, says most patients can ¨expect to see additional improvement for up to six months after treatment.¨

How long will my FaceTite results last?

FaceTite is FDA-approved to last around a year, but many people will see results for five years or even longer. This doesn’t mean that in five years you’ll go back to your pre-procedure look, but you may begin to see a gradual reduction in overall tightness, similar to the natural aging process. You can help maintain your results by taking good care of your skin, using sunscreen and not smoking.

What are the risks or potential side effects of FaceTite?

FaceTite is generally considered a safe in-clinic treatment. Most people experience only mild swelling after the procedure. The risks are similar to those of other radiofrequency treatments and may include changes in skin sensation, scarring, burns, or possible injury to a facial nerve.

Which similar treatments should I consider?

If you want more dramatic, long-lasting results, most doctors on Real Self recommend a facelift. But, there are many less-invasive options to consider as well; including a nonsurgical facelift, which uses dermal fillers, laser treatments and other techniques to rejuvenate your face.

Radiofrequency or ultrasound energy based procedures like Thermage or Ultherapy can also work well on the face and neck, but they don’t penetrate under the skin in the same way as FaceTite, which is truly transformative. It bridges a gap between the non-invasive soft-tissue tightening treatments such as Ulthera/Thermage with the more invasive treatments such as facelifts. In the right patient profiles, the results are excellent.

Your surgeon may also suggest combining a FaceTite treatment with liposuction for fat removal, and RF-assisted micro needling treatments like Fractora RF for skin resurfacing.
