Fund Your Desired Lifestyle: September 8th, 2022 Edition

We want to make enough money to fund our desired lifestyle.

How does learning a new thinking process connect with that desire?

We need to provide security for our families.

Why do we need a new way to think to meet that goal?

"If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if he will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certainties." - Francis Bacon.

Humans crave certainty.

The world provides none, and it's impossible to know what will happen, contrary to all the YouTube clickbait from NLP and other programs that promise certainty to naive buyers.

Accept this, and the possibilities unveil in front of you.

?? Pursue income and security each day

?? Never compromise family, joy, and purpose

?? Avoid judgment about what's good and what's wrong

?? Always assume you will find prospects and that prospects become clients

?? Learn to enjoy your process, despite not knowing what will happen next

Here's what people who struggle with income do instead:

?? Chase outcomes instead of crossing milestones

?? Prospect for clients without a support system

?? Jump into action without preparing a pre-planned route

?? Move forward without identifying and fixing mindset, skill, and resource gaps

?? Take action without knowing what you want

How you think matters when you need money and security and don't want to compromise on everything else.

Pay attention, focus on the process, and find new opportunities.

When you change how you think, you will notice what you did not see before as your mind opens to more extensive possibilities.

But how?

?? Know why embracing reality is an important skill, and develop a detached observer approach, where you're just able to see what's going on inside yourself

?? When you're able to see inside yourself, you're going to be able to delay gratification and lower the temperature that keeps you stuck in a well-worn dead-end but a safe pathway

?? As you delay gratification, your mind will start opening up, and powerful things will happen that lead to more income and security with less struggle, effort, and cost

?? Then, if your mind opens up, you will always struggle with fallback. Suspend judgment of yourself and others, and stop the backward slide

?? For those who know how to stop judgment, big things start to happen, and powerful energy opens up that takes advantage of accelerated exponential growth math principles

It's essential to thrive inside paradox and embrace uncertainty as our standard mode.

Why does life work this way?

No idea.

How do I know I'm right?

It's happening to me, thousands of years of history back up this idea, and in studying successful people, it's obvious this well-worn path works when followed.

And you're able almost immediately to take advantage of them. And that's why you can see fast progress and reach your goals much more quickly.

Adopt a new thinking process, and stop thrashing about on your current path that got you to where you are.

How do we provide security for our families?

When accelerated performance gets you tangible results, the feeling of security floods over you and your entire family.

Here are a few quotes that inspired me this week:

Anybody will get what they want out of life but must take one critical step that one can't skip.

It would help if you decided to do something different to get what you want out of life.

Are you learning new skills but not changing your existing way of thinking when you want better results?

This quote sums up the entire newsletter.

Leave behind your current thinking process when you want different results.

It's easier to shift your view than you may realize.

I really struggle with seeking milestones rather than outcomes. Emotionally, the milestones mean little to me, except that I may feel accomplished. But without outcomes, milestone-seeking gets really old really quickly for me.

In practice, how do seeking certainty and seeking security differ?

I can attest to the power of embracing both paradox and impermanence together, thanks to Ragini Michaels, her Centered 24/7 course, and her one-of-a-kind book, Unflapable.

The # and type of clients you get are influenced by how well you talk about your business. For professionals skilled in their craft, but struggling in effective communication about it.

It's one of the most compact newsletters that I've read or watched from cover to cover. I love how you're breaking this down, providing context to all the quotes and materials that you're providing. This makes this so valuable and clear. I'm jealous of your communication style, Larry! Yeap, both lines, in the post and in the newsletter at the end, perfectly sum up what you're trying to say.
