I had the pleasure of attending the IFA conference in #sandiego this year. Not only was it exciting to meet some of my clients in person, I also had the chance to see Shaq speak live about #franchise ownership.
Here I am seeing all the "professionally dressed" people walking around. When one person stands out from the herd. A man, dressed in a kilt. Representing the Men In Kilts Franchise Brand.
Not only did I want to get one for myself, I also thought "Wow, what a great way to market the brand."
My point is, never think "normal" when it comes to marketing. Creativity is key when it comes to sales and lead generation. Sometimes the most interesting ideas are the ones you should really go with. Sometimes the ideas that are the most "unique" are the ones that generate the most interest.
Don't be afraid to be more creative, more unique, and more fun.
If anything, it opens doors to more conversations and more relationships that could take your brand to new levels.
At Clienttether.com we shot a "money gun" at the event and people loved it. The chance to catch a few bucks for fun had some appeal. Not to mention our famous "red pants" that became the "talk of the town." Even random strangers told me, "I love the red pants!" I'm thinking, "Thanks, but do I know you?"
You'd be surprised at how these little "attention grabbers" can really get you noticed.
