Fun on the Go!

Fun on the Go!

THE GOBOAT PORTABLE WATERCRAFT COMBINES THE BEST OF A PADDLEBOARD, KAYAK, AND POWERED BOAT

It all began when best friends Clint Donaldson and Dave Yonce decided to make DIY bumper boats for Dave’s kids to play on the family pond. The boats were fashioned out of wood and inner tubes and provided a summer full of fun and entertainment. Donaldson, a product designer at heart, continued to think of improvements to that early boat design and two years later, he and Yonce introduced the first GoBoat.

The GoBoat is a personal watercraft that is inflatable and easily folds down for storage when not in use. When inflated, it has a rigid platform with a comfortable seat for hours of adventure on the water. It is powered by a trolling motor and can be launched from the shore or a boat dock.

Families love GoBoats because they are a safer alternative to other water sports like jet skis. They are great to use for a day at the lake, road trips, or a quick float around a pond. There are three models including a smaller kids’ boat, an adult-sized model, and a fishing model with extra mounts for accessories.

Donaldson says, “The GoBoat is perfect for anyone that wants to own a boat but doesn’t have the space to store it. It is fun to use and turns on a dime. It can go just about anywhere.”

GoBoat Gear

Be on the water in minutes. The GoBoat comes in a handy backpack and weighs only 47 pounds. It comes with a two-chamber hand pump and a 35 lbs. thrust trolling motor. The marine battery is sold separately. The GoBoat’s round, rigid deck is stable and secure. Its three separate inflatable chambers exceed most states’ safety standards and includes a power shutoff connected to an ankle lanyard. It handles low waves well and has a max weight limit of 300 lbs.

Great for Kids

Kids love playing bumper boats with GoBoats! The kids’ model has a 55” diameter versus the 70” diameter for adult boats. GoBoats are a safe alternative to other water sports and can be used on most types of water including no-wake lakes, ponds, and swimming pools. Family camping trips are made extra special with GoBoats. They easily fit into the trunk of a car along with your other camping gear.?In fact, GoBoats are currently being used at several kids’ camps.

Go Fish!

Get into those tricky honey holes with a GoBoat. It is perfect for lakes and ponds and can be launched off the shore or any fishing dock. Enthusiast anglers will pack a GoBoat on their fishing boats and launch it into places their powered boat can’t access. The 70” diameter deck is stable with room to walk around and has plenty of on-deck storage and room for tackle and a cooler. Two accessory rails can hold several fishing rods, fish finder, or cupholder.

GoBoat Docks

The inflatable GoBoat dock is a perfect complement to the GoBoat family. It can accommodate up to eight people, with cushioned sides, inflatable pillows, and ports for two GoBoats. The larger lounging dock offers a customizable configuration to form an “S” or a donut shape and can accommodate up to 20 people with two GoBoat ports. Simply toss an anchor to relax, pull it around with a GoBoat, or even use it in a swimming pool when you’re not on the lake!
