FULLY REMOTE PERMANENT POSITION - MUST BE UK BASED

Due to growth, our client has a brand new exciting opportunity for a Full Stack / PHP Developer to join the talented Tech Team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Development and can deliver secure, maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

To undertake and participate in code reviews and design discussions

To work on new PHP projects based on Symfony

To implement and maintain best practices and advance design patterns

To both follow and promote DDD, BDD and TDD alongside SOLID and DRY principles

To work on the frontend side of the apps improving both the templating structure, styling and mark up

To hold a pivotal role in helping the team make informed decisions for the font end architecture of applications

Experience and skills required:

Strong exp in Symfony and Doctrine

A solid understanding of design patterns and principles : OOP; DDD; BDD and TDD alongside SOLID and DRY principles

PHP, ideally with knowledge of PSRs (mainly PSR-7/ PSR-15)

Knowledge of PHPunit and Behat

A good level of JavaScript with experience of front end frameworks such as React or Vue

A good knowledge of design patterns in JavaScript

A good working knowledge of behavioural and unit JavaScript test framework eg. Jest, Jasmine and Mocha

A strong understanding of testing best practices

Experience of working with high traffic and high-volume websites
