FULL STACK DEVELOPER

REMOTE ROLE BUT MUST BE UK BASED

We have an exciting fully remote role for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join one of our UK Based clients.

This position will be a great challenge working with the company’s key clients on their projects ranging from developing an internal workflow tool for content production to producing customer facing SaaS Sales experiences and event management tools.

The role of Full Stack Developer will be Back End heavy.

Responsibilities:

To work as part of the team and work closely with the Front End Developers , Product Owners, Project Managers etc to help break down business requirements into both measurable and implementable user stories

Collaborate with other departments such as Design and Dev Ops to deliver projects successfully and on time

Participate in an agile team with daily stand ups and sprint planning

Attend monthly company and team meetings once a month at head office in UK

Participate and successfully deliver multiple high priority projects

Able to adapt to changing business priorities and a project lead or a team member

The ability to take simple and complex briefs, user stories and developed interfaces and turn them into working apps

Experience / Qualifications:

A degree / qualification in development would be beneficial

Very strong background in PHP 7+ and frameworks such as Laravel

Experience of working with Javascript Frameworks such as React

Experience of Node Js would be a distinct advantage

Solid expertise of writing and integrating APIS

Proven experience of developing robust PHP applications

Experience with the AWS environment including Cognito, Elastic Beanstalk or similar used AWS services

Familiar with OO and design patterns

Solid understand of Web Application Security

Strong front end experience using native JS and modern web tech such as ES6 and Webpack

Knowledge of PSR standards

Able to write Unit Tests and have familiarity or written acceptance tests

An understanding of web stack concepts such as HTTP. Cookies , Headers , Profiling and Caching

A knowledge of PSR standards

Any experience of Linux would be a bonus !

Able to travel to meetings once a month in Uk
