Its almost four years since a wrote my first article about Full Fibre – What is the best internet service. ?In this time, Alternative Networks (Altnets) have done a fantastic job to improve UK’s connectivity. However, little has been said to how it will improve the business community.
Until now, businesses only had two options: 1) Residential Broadband which although affordable has limitations, or 2) the far superior Leased Line with its significantly higher cost. (The difference is tens or hundreds of pounds)
Full Fibre, or commonly referred to as Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) provides a much fairer solution when deployed correctly. A solution which ticks all boxes.
Broadband is a service which until it starts to go wrong, the typical person will take for granted. Therefore, have you experienced…
-???????Slow webpage loading times.
-???????Buffering during video conferences.
-???????Difficulty uploading or downloading files.
-???????Unresponsive or slow-loading cloud services crucial for data storage, collaboration.
The common misconception is that all internet services are the same, some just go faster than others. Yes, speed is one factor, but this does not tell the whole story.
Imagine, washing a car…
Person #1 uses a bucket of water and a sponge, #2 a jet spray and #3 drives a car into a swimming pool.
The first two are the equivalent of Residential Broadband products; they both use a similar amount of water, but #2 is much faster than #1.
#3 is the equivalent of a Leased Line; as soon as the car hits the pool, it is immersed, surrounded with water.

Now, replace water with your company’s internet capability…you get the picture.
?
If it is far superior, why doesn’t every business choose a Leased Line?
-???????Cost
-???????Agreement term
-???????The time to deploy.
In today’s uncertain world, all are valid, so many will settle for a substandard service. Nonetheless, I urge people to be aware of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and carryout a risk assessment…
Residential Broadband SLA = 40-hours = 5-working days
...If there was NO internet access, how would your business be affected?
?
The Game Changer…
Full Fibre now offers everyone the opportunity of a quality, future proofed internet service. Affordable, scalable products which allows a business to grow with confidence.
Remember, the telecoms industry is complicated, so make sure to ask the?RIGHT?questions.
