Full Circle

The day is here. I received in the mail what I can only describe as feeling like attaining the holy grail, my Certified Public Accountant Certificate issued by the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners . As I reflect on the journey which led to this moment, I am filled with gratitude with all of those who have supported me along the way. From the first accounting class at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in spring, 2018 and riding shotgun on my friend’s moped across campus to merely be fashionably late for classes in the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media , to my three summers at STOUT STUART McGOWEN & KING LLP , to the accelerated UNC Master of Accounting , and now most recently, completing my first busy season and closing in on my first year anniversary of working full-time at 毕马威 , a heartfelt thank you to all.?

Once I became interested in accounting, achieving the CPA distinction was a goal I couldn’t let slip from my mind. I hope to find a way to use my growing technical knowledge to give back to my community and serve others.?
