New partnership This Month!

As many of you know, I didn’t attend university myself, but I’m thrilled to announce that I will now be working with one!

I’m partnering with the Fatima Group to introduce the Emerging Technologies module at Fatima University.

This module will cover

• Driving Innovation: Utilising emerging technologies to foster innovation.
• Creating Business Value: Strategies for growth and value creation.
• Effective Leadership: Inspiring leadership in the tech-driven landscape.

As I’ve progressed in my leadership journey, one of the most valuable lessons I've learned is the importance of outsourcing tasks that aren’t my strong suit. In the past, I believed that diving into every aspect of a project was the best way to learn and grow.

However, I soon realised that spreading myself too thin, juggling multiple tasks at once wasn't the most effective approach.

A Key Opportunity for UK Business Amid Challenges

A recent survey reveals that 91% of UK IT leaders view AI as essential for organisational transformation, but significant obstacles persist.

While 42% of businesses have adopted an AI-first strategy, 88% are concerned that AI-generated data will soon exceed their datacentre capacity, and 78% worry about infrastructure limitations. The main benefits of AI include improved efficiency and enhanced customer experiences.

However, rising energy costs and cybersecurity threats hinder progress, with many IT teams focusing primarily on day-to-day operations rather than innovation.

To effectively harness AI, UK businesses must address these infrastructure and resource challenges to maintain their competitive edge.
