Full Blast...
Welcome to my "new" subscribers and people who have been with me here for a bit. I hope you are having an incredible day.
I've tried to remain true to the main goal of this weekly newsletter:
"Share actionable tips about increasing productivity by doing less."
And, part of that focus has been intentionally sharing ONE problem and ONE actionable tip per week.
I'm pretty sure most of the value comes from people (like YOU) who then share your perspective (or actionable tip) via the comments each edition.
Thank you for doing that and please keep them coming!
Focus. #deliver
This week...
The Problem: My attention is everywhere
This week, imagine we are walking through an airport concourse together.
Life's busy busy, ya know. Places to go and all that!
You are looking down at your phone doing some doom scrolling on the latest and greatest "news" of the millisecond.
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "You told me to Walk Away a while ago when I get stuck. It's not working."
The Actionable Tip: Move On
Your attention seems to be everywhere these days.
So it's not a problem of being stuck and walking away, is it?
[ If that IS your current challenge then DO THAT! ]
You've tried walking away.
How about instead of just walking away (like we are doing in our minds right now at an airport concourse lol), you just Move On?
What's the difference between "Walking Away" and "Moving On"?
Hmmmm....
Your Next Step...
Think about the problem I've described and my actionable tip above.
Here is the part where I need YOU contribute YOUR actionable tip for others who are reading this article....
In the comments below, share ONE actionable tip on the difference between "Walk Away" and "Move On."
Why is this important?
I can't wait to see where we go on this one!
Thank you.

2 年Walking away is totally fine sometimes. Everyone needs some downtime. You may lose one battle or even several, but you may still win the war, thus the phrase "choose your battles" or #backlog #prioritization and #refinement, as we call it in #Agile. Overall, focusing on #continuousimperfection (#wabisabi) to allow room for #continuousimprovement (#kaizen) is the key for survival and growth for a contemporary Agile PM or #ScrumMaster in this overloaded world of informational clutter and tasks, IMHO. #TrueAgilityRVA

2 年“Walk away” is like giving up but “moving on” is giving it more…by moving forward!
