#FulfilmentPartnersFromHell - (Stuck)Elevator Pitch For the Perpetually Busy...
At the suggestion of a friend, please find below a very potted history of what is happening to a good-natured little company at the hands of a high profile fulfilment partner with, what can only be described, as a corporate personality disorder. A company that, quite apart from the destruction it has visited upon Big Apple Hot Dogs, has now deprived food bank clients of 11,400 servings - preferring to let them expire in their freezers, rather than agree to release it for donation.
Utterly shocking stuff.
Just after lockdown, a massive & professional-looking 3PL company called e2b Fulfilment Logistics (part of Global Infusion Group - comprising Eat to the Beat Bonnie May, GIG Catering & E2b) contacted me to offer their fulfilment services - at the moment?my new online retail business?was thriving, after all catering & wholesale revenue had been wiped out by lockdown.?
They promised to provide all the storage and distribution capacity I could ever need, and free my time up to grow the business & compete with the big boys.?
It was a dream come true for my little one man brand - since it meant I wouldn’t have to do all the packing & shipping myself.?
But it soon turned into a nightmare - since the whole place was incredibly chaotic.?
E2b made mind-boggling amounts of errors (26.7% when the industry average is 1-3%), deprived me of a service-level agreement, didn’t answer the vast majority of the 1083 emails I was forced to write to try & get information for my baffled customers.?
To compound matters, they didn’t answer my?7 queries, as to why they were charging me for more & more?pallets month after month, when I only asked for 2 frozen + 1 ambient pallets & never needed more than 4 pallets of each. They only replied once and admitted charging me for other people’s pallets & offered to make changes to their methods of charging - they never did.

My avg.?frozen storage costs per order steadily rose from £1.09?to £15.50, 18 months later.?
When I finally insisted they review them (the pallet no.s?they were charging for were now a preposterous 18 frozen + 22 ambient) they refused to review the disputed invoices or explain their methodology, and they crippled my business by summarily putting my account on stop - meaning I couldn’t trade. Never once showing any flexibility or the slightest care for my business.?
When I made a goodwill payment, under protest, & offered to pay in full (but reserved the right to claim it back if an independent expert adjudged their charges & methodology to be suspect.) they threatened legal action.
They have refused to release my goods since January 2021 and now 11,400 meals have become food waste in their freezers and I have had to spend over £8k on lawyers fees.
All because they refused to review, or own up to, the way they increased my costs by 940%, without agreement.
Keeping aside all the other damage that has been done by e2b, I'm fighting for the right to donate the expiring stock to food banks.
Sound incredible? It's all 100% true - I have the proof in the 1000’s of emails.

2 年So sorry to hear this. As you know, I was one of the people that received an incorrect order. I thank you for immediately sorting that out at the time. I am glad you are shot of them! My next order will be on the way very soon.
