The Fulfilled Career Is The Ego's Suicide

I spent much of my career trying to figure out my sense of self / purpose. Where did I belong? What was I supposed to be doing with my career? When would my purpose be realized?
I have tried moving cross-country and cross-continent. I have tried reading countless leadership and self-empowerment books. I have tried working as a single person and while being in a relationship. And I have tried numerous positions, projects and ventures. And in the end, I only found myself as clueless as ever as to who I am; what my purpose truly was.
Today I've come to understand that our true power — our true purpose — lies on the other side of the ego's constructed sense of purpose. Being limitless extensions of God, why would we ever try to define ourselves by the limited perspective of where we live, what we read, who we love or what we do? The reason it seems so elusive to find our sense of self / purpose is because our heart knows no ego-based identity could ever honor the eternal, limitless, all-powerful essence we truly are.
It is time to let go of trying to figure out our limited ego-based purpose and start working our limitless Divine-based purpose. That, and that alone, is the only career purpose that will ever bring true fulfillment. Work from our inner divinity, and the fulfilling path will effortlessly reveal itself.
To all who let go of figuring out their ego's sense of purpose and simply work as extensions of their true spiritual essence, I bow to you. Namaste.
