Introducing the 2023 Fujitsu Technology & Service Vision

In this month’s issue of Fujitsu Research’s newsletter, we are pleased to introduce the latest version of the Fujitsu Technology & Service Vision (FT&SV), outlining our outlook and bold proposals for the future, focusing on moving towards a regenerative society.

FT&SV 2023 explores how sustainability can be integrated into business, describing the different futures that the evolution of technologies will drive and outlining how Fujitsu can help organizations to transform and pursue a collaborative journey towards a regenerative society.

Spotlight on Data & Security

At Fujitsu, one of our five key technology areas is Data & Security, reflecting the essential role of digital trust in accelerating the trusted exchange of cross-industry data. By focusing on borderless data integrity, our work advances data and security research and rulemaking, building digital trust and helping to create a secure cyber-physical society ready to defend against new cyber threats.

?As part of this important activity, we recently opened a new branch of Fujitsu Research of Europe (FRE) in Israel, as the hub for advancing data and security research innovation. On May 15, our new branch in Tel Aviv was formally opened by Seishi Okamoto, Corporate Executive Officer and EVP, Head of Fujitsu Research, in front of an invited audience of VIP guests, including the Japanese Ambassador Koichi Mizushima, Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin, Chairperson of the Israel Export Institute, Gilad Majerowicz, Chairman of the Japan Israel Chamber of Commerce and Professor Yuval Elovici, Director of Ben Gurion University (BGU).

The opening event took place at FRE Israel’s new offices, based in the prestigious Point Azriele Center in Tel Aviv.??FRE Chief Executive Officer Dr?Adel Rouz?set out the new branch’s research mission, explaining:?

“This represents an important milestone for Fujitsu’s global research activities. Since announcing our plans in November last year, we have already assembled an expert team of specialists to focus on strengthening security technology for communications networks in particular, as a key element in ensuring a safer future for businesses and society.?Developing our concept of Trust-Enhanced Networking, based on improving the trustworthiness of cyberspace for business and social activities, is a top priority for our new and steadily expanding team. We are already working closely with BGU, after establishing the “Fujitsu Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Israel”, and we are conducting joint research that is already producing valuable results.”?

こんにちは(^^)/ 昨今叫ばれているAIについて、神の様な、万物創造視点で物事を見ないと、全ての理想だけが先走って、結局やり直すことに…。 この国は、島国で、何でも輸入依存に陥っています。 衣食住を基本として考えた時、それは殆ど輸入されたものから作られています。 日本固有の物として、農作物、海川産物、酪農、水資源、山資源、石砂類、地熱とか 割と、原始的です。果たして、どれだけ活用出来ているのか? その辺の後継者は、どんどん減少傾向だと耳にします。余りにも技術を捨て過ぎ。 この辺の効率化で、日本製品の輸出を推し進めれば、それがひいてはかつての日本高効率化 社会に戻れると思いました。
