  • UNESCO International Year of Quantum- Celebrating 100 Years of Modern Quantum Mechanics

Fujitsu is honoured to?serve as a supporting partner?of the UNESCO International Year of Quantum (IYQ), which was recently launched t at the UNESCO HQ in Paris. As a long-standing pioneer in #quantum computing innovation, Fujitsu is looking forward to supporting the UNESCO #IYQ activities to help spread awareness of the future potential and power of quantum technology.


  • AAAI 2025 - Poster sessions on multi-modal learning and satellite-based AI

Our researchers Maria Xenochristou, PhD and Hayato Ushijima-Mwesigwa presented Fujitsu Research's breakthroughs at this prestigious event, detailing a breakthrough in disaster mitigation and response technology that's transforming how we process satellite data for weather monitoring, and a game-changer in AI representation learning, improving how models generalize across diverse datasets respectively.

  • Celebrating the 2nd?Fujitsu Small Research Lab Conference

Our exciting industry-academia collaboration continues to expand, and we recently held the 2nd annual conference - bringing together 16 universities from Japan and overseas. The event provided an important opportunity for global intellectual exchange across research fields and national borders!

The packed agenda included in-depth discussions about technological innovation and human resource development across various research fields, as well as the opportunity to take a tour of the supercomputer Fugaku, jointly developed by RIKEN and Fujitsu. Vice President and CTO Vivek Mahajan opened Day 2, followed by oral presentations, a poster session, and a networking reception – giving everyone a great chance to interact and explore new ideas.
