The month of August was all about getting back to Dubai and Getting Back to Work, Back-to-School, and prepping for the busy months that are ahead of us.

Community Outreach

Dr. Jayacy Jayankar, Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist, in a radio podcast with Talk FM 100.3, discussed the positive birthing experience and FUH Life Parenthood Program.

Dr. Abdul Rahman El Kinge, Consultant Medical Oncologist, spoke about cancer and its prevalence in the UAE, myths about the condition, the importance of screenings & early detection, and the role of Precision Medicine in cancer care.

For a Sustainable Future

With a futuristic and sustainable vision, we also reached out to all kids & their parents as they get Back-to-School. Our sustainable bag distribution was also a part of this reach out, to encourage amongst citizens UAE's sustainable approach.

World Breastfeeding Week With an aim to promote the importance of breastfeeding and support mothers in their journey of parenthood, we hosted a series of educational events.

Technology-based care

In another FUH First, an advanced computer navigation robotics-enabled Total Knee Replacement was successfully performed on a 71-year-old woman of African origin.

Academically-driven initiative

We launched Vol. 2 of FUH Medical Review – our quarterly clinical knowledge-resource initiative. It’s an extension of the medical & academic excellence in healthcare we envision for the UAE. Read it here
