FUH Monthly Wrap-Up!

The month of July saw various initiatives at Fakeeh University Hospital. Here are the key highlights, read on to know more:

For us, the entire UAE community is like our own family. In our quest to reach each and every member of our extended family, we met with dads-to-be and discussed their concerns & apprehensions about becoming a father.

In this unique event, our Specialist Pediatrician, Dr. Sanjay Perkar, interacted with the fathers-to-be and addressed their concerns. If you are a new father, who's concerned about the journey ahead, our FUH Life Parenthood Program team is here to help you.

Further, amongst many new lives that were born at FUH this month; Ms. Tayabba Javed Hatmi's story of a positive birthing experience brought happiness not only to her home but to all of us. Dr. Lubna Ahmad, Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist did a successful VBAC & we are all grateful to have such good hands with us. Watch the video to hear her story.

Yet another interactive & playful FUH Life Cafe session was held & the session in July focused on the subject of weaning, where the mums were happy to receive useful information and also interact with other mums going through weaning concerns.  If you are a mum of less than a year old Enroll yourself in FUH Life's upcoming Cafe sessions & for all parents-to-be we've our weekly Antenatal classes, where you can prepare for the unchartered waters of parenthood ahead.

Education is at the core of everything we do. We took another step towards Clinical Excellence with FUH's 1st Student-led webinar: “Students Talk”

Over the past few months, many students have joined FUH for short and long-term internships from all around the world. As an extension of this program, our Academic & Training Affairs held its 1st Student-Led Webinar - “Students Talk”. The webinar showcased how students and trainees experience their internships at FUH, alongside discussing the learnings & outcomes achieved by the students. Such initiatives help FUH implement its sustainable model for societal contribution and ensure that the future beholds excellence. 

Art is one of the essential components of our healing environment. This month, artists - Samah Juma'a and Varsha Nair, showcase their magnificent work at our Pavilion. These art pieces not only uplift the place but also provide a relaxing and therapeutic environment for our visitors. Watch their full showcase here
