The event will be part conference, part art exhibition featuring the incredible work of Baroque Anarchist: ‘Entire cosmos within my womb’.
Art is one of humanity’s original forms of channelling new ideas — so what could be more fitting for a flagship gathering of Women’s Health innovators and change-makers?
The artist
Baroque Anarchist is a London-based visual artist who’s deeply inspired by the Baroque epoch and its parallels with the contemporary moment.
“As a child born during the Chernobyl Disaster, I have always been fascinated by the quest for immortality through science and art, and the vulnerability and strength of the body. My background in Baroque painting and theatre design has heavily influenced my contemporary art practices, allowing me to create bold and punkish works that are not afraid to tackle contemporary issues.”
‘Entire cosmos within my womb’
Baroque Anarchist’s solo exhibition, ‘Entire cosmos within my womb’ emerges as a profound exploration of the intricate relationship between the female body and the cosmos, intertwining themes of nature, science, and personal narrative.
This site-specific project, in collaboration with FemTech Lab, focuses on female health and reproductive medicine, offering a deeply personal and universal narrative.
