Non-competes is a one sided contract. If the companies pay a wage that the markets determine is a fair wage, they won't loss people. Non-compete is just a way companies use to control wages. Wages are a company problem not an employee problem. I would never sign a noncompete. Once you do the company has you, and can treat you anyway they want to.
