WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE ISO ACCREDITED?

ISO is the International Organisation of Standardisation. ISO 14001 refers to the standard that measures the quality of a company’s Environmental Management System. This standard is updated every 7 years; ISO 14001:2015 is currently the most up-to-date version, with an update expected soon.?

The process of having this standard accredited requires an external auditor, who looks at a business and ensures that they are meeting or exceeding environmental laws and regulations. This includes a continual improvement policy regarding environmental protection and commitment to reducing waste on all levels of the organisation. Further, we had to produce and provide environmental performance information, and increase environmental awareness amongst employees and suppliers.
